A. Jeans Signs Limited and United Signs Limited.


The APM Group of Companies announced today the acquisition of two existing sign businesses in Halifax. A. Jeans Signs Limited and United Signs Limited have been servicing Atlantic Canada for more than 20 years, and have now been purchased by APM and amalgamated under the banner United Sign Inc. at 21 Raddall Ave. in the Burnside Industrial Park, Halifax, N.S.

Efforts to retain a majority of the existing employees have been successful and "new hires" have increased the workforce to over 20 people. United Sign will operate in a newly renovated 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, which will also house the construction division of APM and a marketing office for Atlantic Store Decor Inc. United Sign is a full service sign company that has the ability to design, manufacture and install a complete spectrum of signage media. The company plans to expand United Sign beyond Nova Scotia to include agencies in all of the Atlantic Provinces.

The integration of United Sign continues to fulfill the mission of the APM Group to offer a complete package of services for retail development.
