Junior Abbies announce sponsor

The Charlottetown Abbies junior A hockey team announced APM Group as its title sponsor Thursday night.

"APM is a tremendous supporter of the community and we are very proud to associate the Abbies name with them and look forward to developing a successful partnership," said team president Kevin Murphy.

The new sponsor is the latest in several moves for the defending Eastern Canadian and Maritime champions.  The team has a new owner, a group headed by Murphy, and new GM and coach in Gord Whitlock
