An exciting new market shopping experience comes to Charlottetown! Built by Islanders.

APM  invites you to the grand opening of Prince Edward Island’s newest Atlantic Superstore on Friday, March 24, at 8 a.m. bringing lower prices, greater variety and convenience to all Islanders.  This Superstore is the largest of its kind in Canada, and we at APM are honoured to have been given the opportunity to develop this exciting new marketplace on our Island.

Our thanks to Atlantic Wholesalers and Loblaw's for their investment in our community and their confidence in bringing a new era of excitement and choice to the Charlottetown marketplace.  They believe in our community, and further lend their support by hosting and showcasing Island products in their stores.

Our thanks to the Province of Prince Edward Island for “opening” our Province to major developments and to the City of Charlottetown for its cooperation.  The Province and City have recognized that this type of venture in our community provides for a positive climate for investment and attracts more retail choice to P.E.I.  This in turn fosters confidence, jobs and opportunity for all Islanders and helps to ensure that our hard-earned dollars are spent right here at home. 

During the past few months you have witnessed from the outside the talents of APM’s Construction Management Team as this exciting new building evolved out of the ground.  We now invite you to visit the inside of this new Superstore and examine first hand the quality and level of detail of the retail store fixtures that were hand crafted by very talented Islanders in our plant at Pooles Corner.  This entire project highlights what we as Islanders can achieve and showcase to the rest of the world thanks to the support and confidence of Loblaw’s and other national retailers. 

APM would like to thank our employees, contractors, sub-contractors and sub-trades for the high level of workmanship, dedication and speed that they bring to every job, and particularly for the dramatic realization of this project, as always, on time, on target and on budget. 

Most of all, we truly want to thank all of the customers who loyally supported our first Superstore.  It is your dedicated customer support that convinced Loblaw's to develop a flagship store of this calibre in our community. 

In closing we wish Mike Doucette and his dedicated Atlantic Superstore staff the very best with this exciting new store.
