New manager
joins Atlantic Store Decor
Family
Connections in Kings County
Greg Jobe
has started work as the new plant manager
for Atlantic Store Decor's 85,000 square
foot facility at Pooles Corner. "I am very
pleased that Greg has accepted our offer to
run the Plant," said Tim Banks, "and I am
confident in Greg's ability to lead Atlantic
Store Décor to more expansion in Kings
County and growth in our production."
Mr. Jobe
is originally from Cape Breton. He is an
industrial and mechanical engineer with over
15 years of experience in manufacturing
facilities. He has previously worked in
woodworking with Shaw Wood Industries which
manufactures furniture for the IKEA chain.
Most recently, he held a senior position
with McCain Foods Limited.
"I went to
university on the Island and also worked
with Cavendish Farms here," said Greg, "and
I really appreciate the lifestyle and people
here. Atlantic Store Décor has a great
reputation for creating high quality
millwork and metalwork and I hope I can
build on that reputation. People in Kings
County have a great attitude and tremendous
skills and I want to tap into this workforce
to bring even more growth to our business."
Mr. Jobe's
wife, Colette (Lacey), is from the Sturgeon
area. They have three children Anastasia, 9,
Laurena, 6, and James, 3. They will be
residing in the Montague area, near both the
Pooles Corner facility and Colette's family.
"My wife
grew up here and went to school here," Greg
said, "and her family still lives in the
area. We are really looking forward to
raising our kids here and being involved in
the local community. The Montague area has
experienced major growth in the last few
years and I think Atlantic Store Décor can
play an even bigger role in the life of this
community."
Atlantic
Store Décor fabricates high-quality
